First blog Wii-sitor

Screenshor of Wii remote and Opera running on Nintendo Wii When I just had a quick look on the server logs I realised that I had exactly one visitor viewing the Website in the Opera Web browser running on the Nintendo Wii!

Now who the heck can argue that it was not worth spending those six hours making sure the Website worked fine on regular TV screens and where compatible with the Wii's rendering engine for that one visitor!?

Well it is actually great seeing people starting to embraced the internet on more un-traditional platforms, such as Nintendo's new game console. And those six hours was not really just for the Wii's sake, but also for Opera version 8 back-wards compatibility. The Web for devices is here to say folks!

Six hours? Wow.. I just installed the WordPress Ultimate Gamer's Pack. But I don't think my blog has been visited from a Wii yet, though..

Yhea, it took me six hours to get everything straighned out. And your blog's desgin, usability, and readability… Well the regular Web version is bad enough on most Web browsers. ^^ I do not even want to think about what a plug-in possibly could do that would make it look and work andy better.

Site looks good on the Opera Nintendo DS browser too.

Am I the first DS-sitor?

I have not been able to test the site on Opera on a Nintendo DS, but I think it should look pretty good. Remember to keep coming back! ;)

Now this is at least the second Wii.

Looks good to me, on the Wii or DS - keep up the good work.

Hehe, that is good to hear Steve! You actually managed to type a comment from the Wii? How did that work?..

Keep checking back! ;)
