What Google does not get about ODF

Google have misunderstood a couple of things… For example they are referring to documents with a .odt (OpenDocument Text) extension as File Format: Microsoft Word and some times even File Format: PDF/Adobe Acrobat or File Format: Unrecognized!

Dear Google, first of all: OpenDocument is not even supported by either Microsoft Word nor any Adobe applications yet! You should by now been able to read this XML based, text document format. Honestly!

Max, Tag, and Play your digital music

Mac OS X user have access to a really cool open source software suite for digital music management and playback.

Max (CD ripping and file format converting), Tag (meta-data editor), and Play (playback and play-lists) are three applications by Stephen F. Booth that I enjoy and truly recommend!

Just have a look at Play's user interface! It is delicious!

Coping with internet addiction

As of last Monday I do not have a permanent internet connection at home. I have had to manage with Opera Mini on my mobile phone, and those few hours a week I have media classes at school. Being that I am used to staying online at least eight hours a day, it has been hard coping with suddenly being cut off.
The big question stands: How to cope with internet addiction when you are cut off from the web?

Suggested KDE logo

David Vignoni has suggested a new Oxygen ready KDE logo. A face-lift are required to make it play nice with the other Oxygen icons. This icon could be a part of the Oxygen icon set for KDE 4.
