I draw action-lines, not thought lines

I just realized why I so strongly dislike the command line interface. I am used to completing actions by draw lines in my thoughts. I imagine dragging the mouse over the screen, pointing it at something, and clicking to perform an action.

By typing out my actions in the command line; I am being forced to think completely stationary and horizontally. I have to think like a poet, and remember how to do everything. I do not see the solutions to the problems I have before me. I have to remember them.

Suggestion for an improved workflow in Akregator

Here is my (updated) email to the lead developer of and the emailing list for Akregator, the KDE news feed reader.

Hi Frank, I am writing to you because I have suggestions on how the user interface of Akregator could be change to provide a better workflow for users. I am first going to explain how users work with Akregator, and how it could be improved by a few changes.

Planning

Taking over the world is a tedious business. That is why my websites have not been updated regularly lately. (Frankly they are not up to date anymore, and some have even been left offline for months.) I will think things over, and get back with my strong web presence sometime very soon.

Skype whirls me in…again

Only three weeks after I decided to ditch Skype they start whirling me back in again. By releasing the Skype Phone and 2.0 beta for Linux with webcam support.
